I never imagined I’d be writing this, but here we are. My husband, Ricky, and I built Maple and North from the ground up nearly a decade ago. What started as a small store in Toronto has grown into a nationwide brand, reaching customers all across Canada and the U.S. We’ve poured our hearts into this business—late nights, early mornings, and countless hours of hard work—because we truly believe in what we do.

As we grew, so did our challenges. Our old warehouse became too small to keep up with demand, making it harder to fulfill orders efficiently. So, we made a big decision—to move to a larger warehouse to better serve our customers and continue growing.

But then, life threw us a curveball. What was supposed to be a simple transition turned into a financial nightmare. The new warehouse needed unexpected renovations—repairs we hadn’t budgeted for. Before we knew it, the costs started adding up, stretching us beyond what we could afford.

Now, we’re faced with a difficult reality: we can’t sustain both warehouses at the same time. To move forward, we must give up our old warehouse and clear out everything immediately.
